Baku hosts Crans Montana Forum

The Heydar Aliyev Center in Baku has opened the Crans Montana Forum, attended by Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and his wife Mehriban, Trend reports.


Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili, Executive Chairman and founder of the forum Jean-Paul Carteron, Macedonian President Gjorge Ivanov, Montenegro President Filip Vujanovic, Prince of UAE Sheikh Mohammed bin Hamad bin Mohammad Al Sharki, Prince of Luxembourg Jean and other high-ranking officials are attending the forum.


The talks will focus on electricity of Southern Europe, the situation in the Middle East, monitoring of ethnic rules and propaganda for the World Forum for Intercultural Dialogue, with Azerbaijan as its center, in 2013.


The Crans Montana Forum was founded in Switzerland in 1986. It cooperates with the UN, UNESCO, UNIDO, ISESCO, the EU, the Council of Europe and OFID.
