Militant leader Ahmedkhan Aushev was detained in Ingushetia last week, RIA Novosti reports.
Three militants were detained on June 30. Ingush and North Ossetian officers organized a joint operation to find people responsible for an improvised bomb on the Nazran-Kaltyshevo road near the Mayskoye Village of the Prigorodny District of North Ossetia-Alania.
As a result, the police caught Ahmedkhan Aushev (born in 1986), Bashir Mislaurov (1984), Aushev’s driver, a worker at a mobile phone company, Zurab Didigov (1983) transporting the militants and providing them with resources.
Muslim Gazikov (1980) was also part of the group. He had a bomb equivalent to 10 kg of TNTm 3 kg of explosives, 400 g of plastid. He was killed when planting a bomb. The police found numerous handsets, over 250 sim cards, PCs.
The detained suspects are believed to be responsible for the blast of an engineers’ group in Nazranovsky District of Ingushetia in December 2011, blast at the Kasatka food store in Nazran in May 2011, attack on police forces in June.
Aushev, Mislaurov and Didigov are also suspected of a blast at the Kavkaz Federal Highway and the Kantyshevsky railway pass.
