The Russian Center for Information and Culture held a round-table conference marking the Day of Russian youth, News Azerbaijan reports.
Nargiz Eyvazov, deputy head of the Ingration of Azerbaijani Youth in Europe Organization, noted that interest of Azerbaijani public in the Day of Russian Youth demonstrates commonality and friendly ties of the two peoples. She described the activities of the organization’s Coordinating Council and emphasized that the Russian community is taking an active part in the process.
Ravil Zaripov, deputy head of the Rossotrudnichestvo office, noted developing contacts with youth organizations as a priority of the structure. The Youth of CIS – Future of Public Diplomacy forum was organized in December 2011 and a program of quick visits for political, public, science and business foreigners was organized.
Attendants of the talks exchanged views on Azerbaijani-Russian youth relations and discussed future plans.
