The governor of Stavropol Territory, Valery Zerenkov, has appointed Yury Tyrtyshov
the former deputy director general of the "Resorts of the North
Caucasus", as the head of the Stavropol government, RIA-Novosti
reports.
Tyrtyshov was introduced in his new position on Monday at the weekly
meeting of the local government.
The presidential envoy to the North Caucasus Federal District, Alexander
Khloponin, said earlier that he considers it necessary to introduce the
post of governmental head in the Stavropol region.
