Chechen president and Russian Foreign Ministry appreciate US decision to add Umarov to terrorist list

Chechen President Ramzan Kadyrov appreciated the US decision to add
Doku Umarov to the list of international terrorists. US Deputy
Secretary of State Philip Croly said that they officially add Doku
Umarov to the list, RIA Novosti reports.

Umarov is responsible for the recent terrorist attack on the Nevskiy
Express in 2009, killing 28 people, and explosions in the Moscow
subway in March 2010. Kadyrov said that Umarov’s terrorist
organization has been destroyed. He also urged those that are still
hiding in forests to give up to save their lives.

The Russian Interior Ministry believes that the decision of the US is
another step in improving anti-terrorist partnership between the
countries, as shown at the summit in Washington.
