Anatoly Bibilov, a former candidate for president of South Ossetia and head of the Ministry for Emergencies, has announced plans to form the United Ossetia Party in Tskhinvali today, RES reports.
Bibilov said that the party will consist of his supporters at the 2011 elections. The party will not be part of opposition and may join a bloc of other parties.
The new party will take part in the parliamentary polls of 2014. Bibilov believes that South Ossetia ought to become part of Russia.
