Armenian president congratulates Obama on US Independence Day

Armenian President Serzh Sargsyan has sent a congratulatory message to President Barack Obama on US Independence Day, News Armenia reports.

Sargsyan noted positive developments in ties between the two states and thanked the US for its support since Armenia became independent.

The Armenian president visited the US Embassy and congratulated Ambassador John Heffern  and staff on the 236th anniversary of the Declaration of Independence.
