Russian parliamentary committee for economy approves WTO joining protocol

The State Duma's committee for economy approved today the protocol concerning Russia's joining the World Trade Organization, RIA Novosti reports.

The initiative is being vehemently criticized by the parliamentary opposition. The Communist Party has recently announced that it would apply to the Constitutional Court in order to obstruct the initiative.
