Two districts experience power cut in Chechnya

Over 65,000 people in Chechnya were left without electricity at 10 am on Thursday, RIA Novosti reports.

The Vvedensky, and Shatoysky District were fully cut from the power supply by heavy rain that broke power lines. The Groznensky-Selsky, Shalinsky, Urus-Martanovsky and Itum-Kalinsky District had a partial power cut.

Nurenergo and an operative group of the local Directorate of the Russian Ministry for Emergencies are restoring power.

About 50,000 people experienced a power cut on Wednesday night.
