Dozens of Georgian sergeants will train in the US soon, Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili said today, Trend reports.
The Academy of the Georgian Defense Ministry has US and other foreign instructors, the president said. US Secretary of State Hillary Clinton said a month ago that the US would assist in technical modernization of Georgia.
The United States has been supporting in training Georgian troops in Afghanistan since 2010.
