Abdulbaset Sieda, Chairman of the Syrian National Council, has urged attendants of the Friends of Syria Group in Paris to support formation of the no-fly zone over Syria and humanitarian corridors, RIA Novosti reports.
The official also requested Russia to approve the initiative.
Sieda urged the Alawis (a Shiite branch of Islam) to stop supporting President Bashar al-Assad and join opposition.
