Joint meeting of parliamentary committees of Azerbaijan and Russia takes place in Moscow

The Milli Majlis (parliament) hosted a joint meeting of the parliamentary
committee of Azerbaijan and Russia, Trend reports.

The two countries have well-developed relations and continue to develop
humanitarian and cultural ties, First Deputy Chairman of the
Milli Majlis, Ziyafat Askerov, said.

Parliaments play a crucial role in the development of relations
between the countries, and this event will contribute to the
development of bilateral relations, Askerov noted. The chairman of the
Committee on International Relations and Interparliamentary Relations,
Seyidov, touching upon the Nagorno-Karabakh conflict, said that
although the OSCE Minsk Group is engaged in the settlement of the
conflict, it is not producing the desired result.
