An armed attack on a mobile police patrol took place on Friday in the
settlement of Leninkent, a suburb of Makhachkala. Three attackers were
killed, Interfax reports, referring to the press service of the
Ministry of Internal Affairs of Dagestan.
A spokesman for the ministry said that the incident occurred at about
15:30, when a police patrol tried to stop a VAZ-21010. The car did not
stop, and its passengers opened fire.
