Georgian parliamentary delegation went to Strasbourg

A Georgian parliamentary delegation left this morning for Strasbourg, where it will participate in the meeting of the Monitoring Committee of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Council of Europe (PACE), Georgia Online said. 

"The main issue at the meeting will be the consequences of the Georgian-Russia war and the implementation of the resolution adopted by the Assembly,” said the deputy of the Georgian Parliament Chiora Taktakishvili. 

 

According to her, the Georgian side has already fulfilled almost all points of the resolution, and Russia - none. 


During the summer session PACE is going to return to the issue of the implementation of the resolution and to demand from Russia its implementation. 

At the last session, the issue of expelling Russia from PACE for failure to fulfill the resolution was touched upon.
