Specialists plan to restore power in Chechnya by evening today. 34,200 are still suffering from a power cut as a result of bad weather, RIA Novosti reports.
65,900 people experienced a power cut in the Groznensky and Shalinsky Districts on Sunday, caused by heavy rain and wind.
According to information at 9 am, 8,700 people in the Groznensky District and 25,500 in the Naursky Dustrict had no power.
Nurenergo mobilized electric brigades at 7 am.
