Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Chairman of the Russian Parliamentary Committee for CIS and Links with Compatriots Leonid Slutsky have discussed regional and international policy within the framework of Russian-Azerbaijani relations, ITAR-TASS reports.
Slutsky presented Aliyev with a book by Yefim Pivovar, head of the Russian State University for the Humanities. The book is called “Russian Azerbaijani relations: late 20th – early 21st century”. The book describes relations between the two states in the last 20 years.
Slutsky had a session at the Azerbaijani parliament in Baku on July 5. He will stay in Baku with Speaker of Russian Parliament Sergey Naryshkin until July 9.
