The Russian Foreign Ministry denied information on Russian warships heading to Syria, Interfax reports.
A group of ships of the Northern Fleet left Severomorsk with destination in the Northern Arctic. Some media sources said that the ships were on their way to the Mediterranean where some western states have naval drills.
