Rescue fleets are training neutralization of naval accidents at the Kaspiy-2012 drills, the Southern Military District reports. The Rescue and coordination center of the Astrakhan Port will coordinate the drills on July 11-12.
Russian and Caspian fleets and rescuers will take part in the training process. Azerbaijan, Turkmenistan and Iran will observe their progress, News Azerbaijan reports.
They will practice rescue operations on a burning tanker, medical treatment and lifting shipwrecked people.
