Russian Prosecutor-General Yuri Chaika has appointed Alexei Tsukanov as the
head of the supervisory authority in the North Caucasus.Tsukanov previously worked as Deputy Prosecutor-General of the Penza region, RIA Novosti
reported on Friday.
The position was previously held by Ivan Sydoruk.
