On Saturday night in the village of Novy Khushet (a suburb of Makhachkala) an armed attack on police officers was made. According to the representative of the republican Interior Ministry, unknown opened fire on two parked automobiles. As a result of criminal act two OMON soldiers got gunshot wounds and died on the spot, RIA Dagestan reports.
The Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation across Dagestan confirmed the fact of firing and reported that the city police initiated Volcano-4 search-intercept plan to find the attackers.
