The head of the federal agency for youth, Sergey Belokonev, addressed reporters at the Mashuk All-Caucasian Youth Forum, saying that the problems young people in the Caucasus are facing are similar to those that exist in other regions, RIA Dagestan reports.
He also called upon the local authorities to work hard together with the federal officials.
Belokonev admitted that the participants in the Mashuk forum pay no attention to the results of the projects presented at the forum. It is very important to discuss past initiatives as well as presenting new ones, he said.
He also underlined that Mashuk should not become another Seliger forum. These are two different projects, he said.
