French Foreign Minister Laurent Fabius invited his Azerbaijani counterpart Elmar Mammadyarov to visit Paris on July 31, French Ambassador to Azerbaijan Pascal Meunier said marking the Bastille Day, 1news.az reports.
The ambassador noted success of bilateral relations. French companies are operating in the energy and non-petroleum sectors of Azerbaijan. The states have good ties in education, culture and humanitarian sphere. Special attention was paid to construction of a French lyceum for 700 children in Baku.
Another success is the Pearl of France exhibition in Baku in spring, visited by 40,000 people and the Flight to Baku exhibition in Paris.
