Russian President Vladimir Putin has signed the order On the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation, the press service of the Kremlin reports.
The order says that “for coordination of activity on providing the stable socio-economic development of the Russian Federation, I hereby resolve:
To establish an Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation.
To adopt the following:
a) The provision of the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation;
b) The composition of the Economic Council under the President of the Russian Federation.
The order begins its operation from the moment of signing.”
Economic Council under the President of Russia is a consultative body aimed at developing initiatives on the main directions of the socio-economic policy of Russia and implementing stable development and modernization of the economy.
