Ilham Aliyev and Premier of Georgia Merabishvili meet in Baku

The president of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, on Monday welcomed the prime minister of Georgia, Vano Merabishvili, Trend reports.

The head of Azerbaijan congratulated the Georgian prime minister on his appointment and wished him success in his activities. Aliyev stated that the visit by Vano Merabishvili provides a good opportunity to discuss issues connected with the development of bilateral relations in all spheres.

Merabishvili expressed satisfaction with the fact that his first foreign visit as premier was to Azerbaijan.
