G8 leaders discuss action plan on security

The leaders of the G8 have discussed a plan of possible action on the key problems of international security, i.e. Iran, the Middle East, North Korea and Afghanistan, an assistant to the Russian president reports.
The leaders spoke about what should be done in the future collectively on Iran, and for the separate countries, particularly in settling the Middle East's problems, RIA Novosti reports.
Nobody is optimistic about these problems, but at the same time everybody understands how to act in the near future, the assistant said.
