Non-Aligned Movement holds conference in Iran

Tehran is hosting an international conference of the Non-Aligned Movement today, SalamNews reports.

Ali Akbar Javanfekr, an advisor to Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, read out the president’s message. Iranian Foreign Minister Ali Akbar Salehi and Minister for Economy and Finances Shamsaddin Hossein made speeches at the opening of the conference.

Joint working groups for the economy, culture, society, media, social networks, politics and international relations, officials from international organizations and NGOs will take part in the two-day conference. They will discuss economic development, sustainable development, ecology and other problems.
