Members of parliament from the Russian Communist Party have called upon the General Prosecutor's Office and the Accounting Chamber to check the Seliger forum's financing, Grani.ru reports.
According to the Izvestiya newspaper, 200 million roubles were spent on the Seliger forum in 2011.
The head of the federal agency for youth, Sergey Belokonev, says that the money was spent legally.
