Russia responds to Georgian critique

 

Russia recommended Georgia to mind its own respect of democratic rights and freedom before bothering about it in Russia, spokesman of the Russian Foreign Ministry Alexander Lukashevich said on Wednesday, RIA Novosti reports.

The UN Council on Human Rights, Council of Europe and other orhanizations had pointed out violations of the rights of people and national minorities, Lukashevich reminded.

The Russian parliament passed a bill making all non-commercial organizations financed by foreign states called foreign agents on July 13. Georgia criticized the bill on Monday.
