The Prosperous Armenia Party welcomes formation of the Eurasian Union proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin, spokesman of the party Tigran Urikhanyan said, NEWS.am reports.
The Collective Security Treaty and the Single Economic Space agreement are the basis of joining the Eurasian Union for Armenia.
Prosperous Armenia does not consider the Eurasian Union an attempt of Russia to rebuild the USSR.
Head of the parliamentary fraction of the Republican Party Galust Saakyan said that no union would be built, states will only cooperate as an economic bloc.
