All polling stations providing for the referendum on a new constitution and confidence in the provisional government in Kyrgyzstan have been closed at 20.00 (18.00 Moscow time), RIA Novosti reports, with reference to the Central Electoral Commission of the republic.
2281 stations were in operation on the territory of the country. According to the data of the Central Electoral Commission, 2,7 million people have a right to vote in Kurgyzstan. At 18.00 turnout was more than 53%.
