Since the start of 2010 workers of the Drugs Control Service have confiscated about 40 kilos of heroin on the territory of the South and North Caucasus districts, which is 1,7 times more than last year, RIA Novosti reports. The reason for this is "pressure on Afghan drug trafficking and activizing of law-enforcement agencies".
