Valery Zhilov heads Kabardino-Balkaria Tourcluster working group

The government of Kabardino-Balkaria has composed a working group on complex development of a mountain-skiing resort in the vicinity of Mount Elbrus, ITAR-TASS reports. It will deal with implementation of the project within the program of establishing the “Elbrus” world-standard tourist cluster, which was developed together with the British consortium Flame Group. The group is headed by the first vice-premier of the republican government, Valery Zhilov.

“We have to develop a road map of development of the mountain-recreation complex, define stages of fulfillment of the project, coordinate all details, consider interests of local population, geographic peculiarities, and current facilities,”the minister of economy and commerce of Kabardino-Balkaria, Ali Musukov said.

Flame Group suggests establishing the health resort Elbrus in the region and building the Minvody-Sukhumi highway.
