Turkey closes airspace to Israel

Turkey has barred Israel from its airspace, APA reports, citing Associated Press. This was announced by the Turkish premier Recep Erdogan . According to him the decision was made in connection with the "Freedom Flotilla" crisis, which occurred on May 31. Nine people were killed in the Israeli commandos' raid on the humanitarian convoy, among them eight citizens of Turkey.
