South Ossetian President Leonid Tibilov has appointed Akhsar Lavoyev, former head of the State Customs Committee, as the Interior Minister, RES reports.
Interior Minister Valery Valiyev in office since 2008 has been dismissed. Crime Police Chief Murtaz Valiyev became the First Deputy Interior Minister.
Murat Tskhovrebov has become the Chairman of the State Customs Committee.
Tibilov dismissed deputy head of administration of the Dzausky District Unal Kochiyev and appointed Uruzmag Magkoyev.
