Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu has met US candidate for president Mitt Romney and said that international sanctions and negotiations have failed to slow down the Iranian nuclear program, RIA Novosti reports.
Romney will compete with President Barack Obama during the elections on November 6. He visited Israel and met Netanyahu, President Shimon Peres and opposition leader Shaul Mofaz.
Romney promised to do everything to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear weapons. His advisor Dan Senor said on Sunday that he would show understanding of Israel’s attack on Iran.
