Egypt will form a new government on August 2, Prime Minister Hesham Qandil, former Minister for Irrigation and Water Resources, said in Cairo at a meeting with President Mohamed Morsi, RIA Novosti reports.
Qandil said earlier that the date and time of the announcement of the new Cabinet would be set on Saturday.
Morsi ordered the formation of the government on Tuesday.
41-year old Hesham Qandil is the youngest PM in the history of the country. He graduated from Cairo University as an engineer and became a master in the US in 1988.
