Russian vice premier visits Krymsk

Russian Vice Premier Dmitry Kozak and Governor of the Krasnodar Territory Alexander Tkachyov have visited Krymsk and observed the new residential microdistrict in the south-eastern part of the city, Yuga.ru reports.

Tkachyov presented the preliminary plan to Kozak. The residential area will have 9-storey and 3-storey buildings, a nursery and a school. The 9-storey buildings will have about 1,000 apartments.

Vice Governor Alexander Saurin said that over 700 requests have been received for accommodation in the new houses.

89 out of the present 247 houses are about to collapse.

10 construction organizations have been chosen to start construction at the Timashevsky District. 114 out of 193 houses will be knocked down and 66 will undergo major reconstruction.

Kozak said that schools must be ready for studies before September 1, Interfax reports.

Kozak visited the flood-hit school N9. Its reconstruction needed 30 million rubles. The sum has been granted and work has already started.

Krymsk is reconstructing 17 education centers. Schools and nurseries will look better than before. Each pupil will receive presents, Minister for Education and Science of the Krasnodar Territory Natalya Naumova said.
