Iran sends letter to 15 members of UN Security Council

Iran's Foreign Ministry has sent an official letter to the 15 members of the UN Security Council, Foreign Minister Manouchehr Mottaki said today at a press conference, Fars news agency reports. Mottaki said in the letter that the Iranian side expressed its disagreement with the Security Council's new resolution, adopted on June 9.
He also added that, at present, Iran is preparing a response to the letter and the questions of the Vienna group (France, Russia and the U.S.).
Regarding President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad's statement about the change and expansion of the Group 5 +1, Mottaki said that both in Iran and outside its borders, consultations are being held regarding this, the results of which will be announced in the near future.
