On Friday, the Tver district court in Moscow considered the petition
to extend the investigation for the arrest of three defendants in the
case of the sale of the former Philharmonic buildings in Nalchik. Head
of the administration of the governor of Kabardino-Balkaria Vladimir
Zhamborov, accused of large-scale fraud, was brought to the court from
the Scientific Center for Cardiovascular Surgery."After several heart attacks that happened to Zhamborov in jail, he
was taken to hospital. Today, contrary to the prohibition of the
doctors, he was brought to the Tver court. Right in the court
Zhamborov had a heart attack and he was taken to the hospital,"
the prisoner's lawyer Ruslan Koblev said, Gazeta.ru reports.
On Friday, the Tver court extended the arrest of two other suspects in
the case. The head of the Office of the Federal Postal Service for the CBR,
Ruslan Zhamborova (formerly Deputy Minister of State Property and Land
Relations of the Republic), and the Minister of State Property and Land
Relations of the Republic, Habdulsalama Ligidova, were left in custody
until October 5, Ruslan Zakalyuzhny, a lawyer for one of the prisoners said.
