Russian President Vladimir Putin has appointed Police Major-General Sergey Matveyev as the head of the Operative Search Bureau of the Russian Interior Ministry, Interfax reports.

Police Colonel Peter Grishin has become the Deputy Chief of the Expert-Crime Center of the ministry, Colonel Boris Kolesnikov has become the Deputy Chief of the Main Directorate for Economic Security and Corruption Prevention, Major-General of Justice Yuri Shinin has become the First Deputy Chief of the Investigative Department of the ministry.
