Chechnya has seen the first conscripts in 20 years take the oath, press service of the Chechen government reports.
The oath was taken at the Glory Alley Memorial of Russian Hero Akhmad Haji Kadyrov in Grozny. Chechen President Ramzan Kayrov, Commander of the UGA of the North Caucasus Region Sergey Melikov, Russian MP Adam Delimkhanov, Chechen Speaker of Parliament Dukuvakha Abdurakhmanov and the head of the Presidential Administration and government of Chechnya Magomed Daudov were at the ceremony.
150 people were conscribed. They will serve at the 46th operative brigade of Zhukov Order of the Russian Interior Ministry.
