Iran has blamed the US for its48 kidnapped pilgrims, ITAR-TASS reports.
Iranian Deputy Foreign Minister Hosein Amir Abdollahian sent a message to Washington accusing the US of supporting terrorist groups in Syria and providing them with weapons.
The pilgrims were on their way to Shiite shrines at Damascus. They were detained by the Free Syrian Army on Sunday, accused of spying for Iran. 3 pilgrims were reportedly killed by the Syrian military.
