Chechen Leader Ramzan Kadyrov has expressed surprise at the Ingush Leader Yunus-Bek Yevkurov excusing him for criticism over combating militants in Ingushetia during Ramadan, RIA Novosti reports.
Media reported that on Saturday Kadyrov criticized Yevkurov for inefficient combating of terrorists, commenting on the special operation in Galashki (Ingushetia). Yevkurov said he was expecting an apology for the criticism on Sunday.
Kadyrov said that the two regions need to pay more attention to administrative borders. He denied that there was any chance that the recent statements would affect relations between the two republics.
