Iraq to evaluate visit of Turkish foreign minister to Kirkuk

 

Spokesman of the Iraqi government Ali Dabbag said that the Council of Ministers had decided to reconsider relations with Turkey, Trend reports.

Minister decided to analyze the visit of Turkish Foreign Minister Ahmet Davutoglu and present a report to the Cabinet. Vice Premier Hussein Shahristani will head the special commission for the studies.

Davutoglu visited the Iraqi province of Kirkuk, causing grievances at the Iraqi government. Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki said that Turkey was turning into an enemy for its attempts to dominate in the region. Erdogan recommended Iraq to mind interior affairs before accusing other states of hostilities.
