“Border services of Federal Security Service of Russian Federation together with other departments should reinforce the technologies of security of state boundary” Russian President Dmitry Medvedev said on the meeting with the head of border services of FSB Vladimir Pronichev – reports RIA Novosti.
“It’s necessary to reinforce technological packaging arrangement so that everything work like examples of foreign states” – said Medvedev. Besides this President called on to reinforce “work on modernization of the whole state of border services”.
Head of state also said that he has introduced to State Duma project “About the alteration of 30 and 35 articles of Rusisan law “About state boundary of Russian Federation””. Medvedev expressed hope that this project will be consider in the nearest future.
In his turn Pronichev reported to President that protection of state boundary was reinforced “in all directions on Kazakh sector where threats of our state are located”.
Moreover he reported that with adjoining states border services “has begun work on prevention of threat on the distant approaches”.
The head of border services of FSB of Russia added that “technologies which we employ at the present time are completely oriented to our production”.
“We suppose that our technologies for today fully satisfy modern system of protection of state boundary” Pronichev said.
At the same time Medvedev having approved special technologies on equipment of the boundary mentioned that all the same “part of them needs development”.
