The US continues building the global anti-missile system with its allies in the Gulf, RIA Novosti cites spokesman of the US State Department Patrick Ventrell.
The system will protect sources of hydrocarbons and infrastructure of refineries from Iranian missile threats. The US will set up radars, intercepting missiles and a center for command and information. US ships will be part of the system.
The US official has not given details of the Middle Eastern part of the anti-missile systems. Equipment and specialists worth billions of dollars have already arrived in the region.
