Abdullah Gul: Turkish business representatives are ready to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan

Representatives of large businesses in Turkey are ready to expand cooperation with Turkmenistan, the president of Turkey, Abdullah Gul  told his Turkmen counterpart Gurbanguly Berdimuhamedov at a meeting in Istanbul. The later arrived in the country on a working visit, Trend reports, citing the national Turkmen television.
 "Modern Turkmenistan - is a dynamically developing country, where the broad-scale programs and major projects are implemented in all spheres of life, finding great support in Turkey," - the Turkish leader said.

In turn, Berdimuhamedov called attention to the fact that Turkmenistan will create all the necessary conditions for successful business development in order to stimulate investment activity. 

Turkish companies in Turkmenistan have more than 1,270 investment projects, more than 1,200 projects of them are worth over $ 15 billion.

At the beginning of 2012, the President of the Turkish company Nata Construction Tourism Trade and Industry Co. Yapı, Namık Tanik urged his Turkish colleagues to invest in Turkmenistan, stressing that "there are no difficulties with respect to payment from the government of Turkmenistan."
