International reserves of Georgian National Bank increase by $26 million

The international reserves of the Georgian National Bank amounted to $2,807.4 million as of July 31, 2012, the National Bank of Georgia told Trend on Friday.

According to preliminary data, the reserves increased by $26.4 million compared to the previous month.

International reserves, converted into foreign currency, amounted to $2,585.1 million, including placements in securities - $1.632.6 million and the accounts of foreign banks and the IMF - $952.5 million. The amount of funds placed in the SDR mounted to $222.3 million, and the reserve position in the IMF - $15.1 thousand.

The international reserves of the Georgian National Bank have decreased by $10.9 million since the beginning of the year.
