North Ossetia plans to issue grants worth a total of 18 million rubles to 22 startup farmers in 2012, head of the republic Taymuraz Mamsurov said, Interfax reports.
6 dairy farms worth 9 million rubles are planned to be built. The republic launched a priority national project for agricultural development in 2006. 9 animal-husbandry farms with advanced technologies have been built.
One of them is Kirovsky, with equipment capable of producing world-quality goods for 20-25 years.
