Odessa court explains extradition of failed Putin murderer

 

The Court of Appeal of the Odessa Region approved extradition of Adam Osmayev, the main suspect of the plot to murder Russian President Vladimir Putin, to Russia, Interfax reports.

The court’s decision was read out today. Osmayev’s lawyer failed to prove his Ukrainian citizenship. Osmayev’s documents say that he is a Russian citizen.

Russian prosecutors assured the court that no torture would be made.
